- Como lo hace? Analizando estadisticas de búsquedas realizadas sobre la gripa. Identificando en que regiones de estados unidos (gracias a la localización de las direcciones IP de los usuarios) se están haciendo más preguntas relacionados con sintomas de esta enfermedad.
- Abrumador, no?
- También Twitter se adelantó de 9 minutos a la AFP el 29 de julio del 2008 cuando el usuario @thevixy lanzó la alerta con una sola palabra: “Earthquake”
- El Internet como medio de comunicación, infinita base de datos y los nuevos usos que le estamos dando realmente está creando una nueva forma de inteligencia y de conocimiento!

It´s a fact, check the google link. Anyway, I think they only have published data for the US right now.
And I suppose it can work only in countries where you have a high penetration of Internet use within the population.
I´m not sure if in countries like India, where a higher part of the population is poor, that you have enough people using Internet and Google, in order to produce enough data and obtain accurate epidemic forecasts.
You´re leaving there and working on the network for immunization services.
